BFF Grace, this is for you.

Randomly, `BFF Grace decided to have a good dinner. After a long contemplation and long-surfing-on-hungrygowhere, we have decided to go to Al Dente Trattoria, an Italian restaurant on the roof top, looking out at the highly anticipated Marina Bay Sands and our Singapore Flyer.

Nice environment, great food, but improvement is required for service. We have 2 servers not knowing their food menu and what’s chef’s specialty. I thought the basic is to at least know what your restaurant offers. Well, we are not anal. So yep. Let it be.

I wanna follow `Grace and document the look of my room, where I spend the most of my nights in (DUH!) and the room that I am afraid to sleep in initially to some place I call sweet haven.

And also, I wanna try the new software I have just installed! I love photography and polaroids, but ain’t rich enough to master or own any of such.

I like the effect of the pictures. Who says I need photoshop?

Brilliant

14Jan10

I know this is a little out-dated and slow, I managed to have my OFF day yesterday and spent the whole day with my `sha 9ua. Managed to catch the highly-anticipated Avatar (3D).

Goodness. It was a brilliant show. Splendid. I like every possible thing that had happened in the show.

I like how the imagination of the creators plays out in the movie. I like how the advancement of science and technology were foreseen. I like how Jake Sully is willing to try ANYTHING just to be free and to have the ability to walk. I like how it shows people looking down on Jake just because he is a cripple. I like how the graphics deliver the image of what the creators think of. I like how it tries to picture the stand of the authorities. I like how Jake enjoyed himself when he first became Avatar and walked and ran like no business. I like how Trudy turns around her air plane and defy the orders to shoot the Natives. I like how the feelings between Jake and Neytiri developed. I like how the Natives used their hair roots to connect to the nature (animals/plants). I like how the forest light up to depict that they are sad, when one of them dies. And most importantly, I like how the show brings across the message of us borrowing from the nature and the need to give back what belongs to her.

Nice.

Goodbye, 2009. It has been a great year, though I can’t say that for the government. Year of the 9 brings me good things just like what 9 usually do for me.

Hola, 2010! Nice to meet you. I am excited with what you have planned for me. (:

Countdown party with the girls at M Hotel. Night with drinks and finger food made by my `Sha Gua.
